I'm a Winner !!!
Wow, pardon me while I take a bow. I have liked Caron Simply Soft Yarn since it first came out, and recently there was a free giveaway for the best reasons one would buy and use that particular yarn. So I bit the bullet and sent in an entry several weeks ago. Low and behold, I received a package the other day with 6 skeins of Caron Simply Soft Yarn and realized I had won with my entry. They said it would be published in an upcoming newsletter. I went into their site this morning to look for a pattern and "there it was in all it's glory" :-).

Hi Carolyn,
Congratulations on being a winner. Your entry was really cute, I thought! I was going to try and contact you through Knitting Paradise but decided maybe this way would be better. Anyway, There were somethings I wanted to ask you about:
1) Where can I get the Crochet Hexagon Lapghan pattern?
2) Could I have your recipe for the snack mix you make. I have a recipe for what we call Texas Trash, that's similar, but if you don't mind sharing, I'd love to have yours! I looked for it but didn't find it on your blog or GoogleReader either one.
3) Where could I find the Gingerbread Christmas panel. I noticed you said you bought yours at a quilt show, but I thought maybe I could order one from someplace.
4) (last one!) I'd also like to know where to find the pattern for the flannel rag quilt. It's so cute. One of my great nephews would absolutely love it.
