House of Love

Going down Memory Lane to one of the first few quilts I made.  This sweetheart is called "House of Love" and is a combination of paper piecing (the flower stems, the flowers in the borders, and the Pineapple Log Cabin Squares in the border, regular piecing (the houses) and fabric folding (the flowers with the buttons at the ends of the stems)   It is all hand quilted and was a challange for a new quilter.  It was fun though and I learned several new techniques.
